The Sony battery contains 48 volts of power with 11.6ah of storage capacity and can be charged on or off the bike.  The hidden battery case is strategically placed and ensures the safety of the electric system.  It delivers plenty of energy to the motor for longer periods of time, so you can be out all day without worries of running out of power.  

Built with E-PAS Recharging Technology.

What does this mean?  It's designed with technology that can actually recharge the battery while in use.  The 350W brushless motor and the intelligent controller are connected with the E-PAS system, and as you pedal beyond a certain speed, the system will regenerate up to 20% new battery life.  Same if you are going downhill and not pedaling at all.  How cool is that?

Upgraded Intelligent Display Unit

The LCD screen is 50% larger than standard units on other bikes.  It is centrally located for easy visibility and contains real time information on speed, battery life, distance, and more.  You can rest easy knowing it is waterproof and password protected.

The Shimano 7-speed shifter and M370 derailleurs deliver accurate and smooth shifting, thus providing accurate drivetrain reaction.   Equipped with 160mm mechanincal disc brakes, shorter braking distance and response times ensure your safety, even on loose terrain.

3 Modes of Operation.

There are three working modes: electric mode, PAS mode, and fitness mode.  Depending on how your day is going, you decide on what is right for you.  The pure electric mode is suitable when you are looking for a little fun, the PAS mode provides assistance when you want to go further, and the fitness mode is when you prefer to ride the old fashion way.
